What was your weekend like?

I am sure that you have been asked more than once what was your weekend like. For most people weekend means Family time, self-time and so on! For me it normally means work time and this weekend was no different.

But as the weekend ended last night and I made a recap of what the two days had been like, the only regret I have is poor hours of sleep. Besides that one slight occurrence, I really, really am so thankful for these couple of days!

Just to give you a small idea, here is a resumed version of my schedule!

Saturday: get up at 5 a.m, catch plain to Madrid, teach workshop to some amazing women, catching up with a friend, catch plain back home, dinner with the children, sleep a little.

Sunday: home chores, visit family member at hospital, birthday lunch, celebrate brother’s big win, Sunday Mass, more home chores, sleep a little.

And that is cutting it very, very short! Yes I am a bit tired today but how many people get to have so much blessings in such a short time?

The girls in Madrid were so nice and friendly and I felt really happy that they enjoyed the class so much! From Anastacia, the Spanish Heidi (I named her that) to Pilar, Lola and Marta, passing by Laura, Rubén and Pedro, the organizers, everyone was super! They were so happy they had time to finish the project and take it home all done! It made my day!

I look awful in that photo but still! Here is almost everyone with the project complete!

And the weekend just kept getting better and better! I didn’t have a single moment to spare but I can honestly say that I feel very blessed! Just like the refrain:

Count your blessings, name them one by one,
Count your blessings, see what God has done!

So as a new week starts and with so many projects, and tasks, and work hours ahead I just decided that if I can change it, I might as well embrace it and be thankful!

Because life is a story worth sharing!
