(sorry, this one only in English….)
As a professed Catholic, there are some passages of the Bible I am particularly found of and that come to my mind ever so often. For the last couple of weeks (is weeks, not days), the passage from Ecclesiastes 3 has been playing in my head.
“There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens”. You can read the whole passage here. From the whole reading, these lines have been ever so present lately:
“a time to tear down and a time to build…. a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend … a time for war and a time for peace”.
Profound I know, but in a few sentences it resumes a lot of what is happening in my life right now.
Funny enough and although my beliefs in God are firm, I have a particular interest in Chinese Astrology and since the year of the Fire Monkey has just started, I looked at what fortune is expected for myself this year, and let’s just say that I won’t have it easy. If they are just predictions or end up being true facts, that is what remains to be seen.
If there is one thing the prediction for my sign is correct about already is that this is a time for change. Yes, change. Ending with some things so that others can be born. Saying goodbye to some people so that others can come into my life. Finishing some projects, loved and cherished ones, so that others can become all the grandness they were conceived with.
Oddly enough and although some nostalgia hits me here and there about letting go of some things I am so excited about the road ahead! I have been traveling down the same path for so long that I now by heart every stone on the way. Good in a way but not challenging in many other ways.
I also believe that real opportunities only come when you are ready to embrace them. Before that they are only puppets on a show you don’t perform at. And for me so it has been.
Yes, a time for change indeed. Some of it becoming every week more perceivable, some of it completely secret and being worked being very closed doors, some to happen in a not so distant future, some of it so I can finally have peace. After all, isn’t that what we all long for, peace on earth?
Music is a true companion of mine. This one a favorite to be played and prayed….
Because life is a story worth sharing, thank you for being part of mine.
